Phishing VS Keylogging - Which Method Is More Effective When It Comes To Hacking?
Howdy Tech buzzer,
I'd like to officially declare that this is the first article we roll out after a huge crash in the systems. :) It's a whole new start and we will be in the niche of hacking, tricks and tips, internet and cyber news.
Let me not bore you guys already. Let's dive in.
You might be already familiar with the term hacking. Online accounts are hacked mostly by phishing and keylogging. I will be walking you through how these 2 works in this article.
The word has it. It's more like Fishing.
The hacker will host fake files to similar domain or page URL related to the replica and sends it over to the victim. Then the victim will be fooled to log in or sign up with his/her credentials. Since the fake pages are managed by the hacker, the credentials can by grabbed by him/her.
Let's see an example for ourselves;
Consider I'm the hacker and you are the victim. I code up replica pages or commonly known as phish pages to a domain that looks identical to the domain which I fake with. Then by wise processing and sharp ways, I send you the URL by means of Email or referrals from any other more genuine looking sites.
Since you are lacking in cyber knowledge, you will surely give it a try and will give away your account credentials. And that's how it works.
The hacker who uses this method will be a hard cord coder. He will create an application probably a Virus on your view.
This virus have programs to snatch keystrokes typed by users to the cache or temporary location then to save it to a FTP, Email or transfer it to a local connection.
The hacker will wisely send it over to the victim and fool him to open it. It might be bind with stealth viruses or mostly you end up with an Error message.
This way the hacker will get all your keystrokes and he might grab your account passwords and let it to the black world.

Does Keylogging Works Similar?
The simple answer is - Yes. Keylogging also works similar to phishing but in theory, not technically.
The hacker who uses this method will be a hard cord coder. He will create an application probably a Virus on your view.This virus have programs to snatch keystrokes typed by users to the cache or temporary location then to save it to a FTP, Email or transfer it to a local connection.
